Layla Olwy is an Egyptian actress, born to an Egyptian father and a Greek mother. Her full name is Leyla Ahmed E’lwy and her career began when she was still quite young with Abla Fadeela at the Radio broadcast and Mama Samiha on children programming on television. ممثلة مصرية لأب مصري و أم يونانية. بدأت حياتها الفنية مبكرًا جدًا، حيث عملت و هي لا تزال صغيرة مع أبلة فضيلة في الإذاعة و برنامج ماما سميحة في التلفزيون. شاركت في العديد من برامج الأطفال. درست في المدارس الفرنسية و تخرجت في كلية التجارة في عام 1991. اكتشفها نور الشريف وقدمها للمسرح، ثم عملت في مسلسل (دموع فوق الحقيقة) كأول عمل لها في التلفزيون كممثلة محترفة. من المسرحيات التي قامت ببطولتها (البرنسيسة، الجميلة والوحشين، بكالوريوس في حكم الشعوب، 8 ستات، سحلب). من المسلسلات التلفزيونية (العائل
